Here’s What We Can Expect if Hillary Wins the White House

Hillary Clinton recently wrote the following in the New York Daily News: “First, we need to repeal the law that gives the gun industry sweeping liability protections, so companies that make and sell guns can be held accountable when their products kill people. When the NRA pushed that misguided law through Congress, they said that preventing lawsuits was their top legislative priority. Now it’s making it harder for families who lost children in the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Connecticut, to sue Bushmaster for marketing its AR-15 assault rifle to civilians. As President, I’ll stand with the families victimized by guns, not the corporations that profit from them.” You can read the whole insane thing here. If we were to...

Experts are being vague when it comes to answering the question “what are my chances of getting Ebola while traveling?” Most of what I’m seeing are comments like “very low”, or “unlikely”. Teaching Kids What is Right

One of my best friends and a contributor to Like Minded Citizen is a youth firearms instructor. Earlier today we were discussing the importance of not just teaching them how to shoot, but to slip in important lessons about ethics and morals. Where is a young person going to learn a code of conduct today? Teaching a young person to shoot doesn’t serve much purpose if we aren’t teaching them about being a good citizen.
